All the underclassmen are kind of like my little siblings! It makes me feel more responsible and I want to be a good role model for them.

I have always looked at my job … as a guide who strives to conduct students toward the appreciation of the language and the acceptance of different cultural aspects.

I always try to create a stimulating and cooperative environment in which the students feel comfortable to practice Spanish from day one.

I make my best effort each day to teach each class session with a refreshed mindset, so that I can help new students and meet their needs each school year.

My teaching objective is to help students learn how to communicate in a socially and situationally appropriate manner in the target language and culture.

I present to my students a multi-layered and multi-angled perspective on what it means to be French within the European Union as well as in the Francophone world.

The language classroom is an inspiring locus where I share the elegance and the relevance of French studies with my students.

When students are effectively motivated, they can really enjoy the learning process.

Soka allows me to be immersed in different cultures … and provides me with a safe space to have dialogue with those individuals to understand their world a little bit more.
