I believe that [INTS] has greatly prepared me to cultivate a perspective that made me aware of cultural differences, and political and social inequities.

The perspectives I gained in my INTS classes helped me be a better traveler and global citizen.

By learning to think comprehensively as well as gaining knowledge-based facts of international affairs, I changed my perception of the world.

I also participated in various programs on international politics and history outside the US utilizing grants programs offered at SUA.

I’ve been working for a social purpose consultancy that brings me into contact with senior policy makers and political figures on a regular basis.

Because of the experience that I gained as an [INTS] student, I became interested in joining Peace Corps [which] led me to work for a government agency.

The INTS classes I took while at SUA gave me the necessary background … to further my research into the efficiency of UN peacekeeping operations.

I had a more well-rounded understanding of how the modern culture and political climate in any given African nation are shaped by its pre- and post-colonial history.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of so many people, including my family and community here and back home, my Pixar and PayPal mentors, and my Soka family. I am forever in your debt.

My goal for the future is to continue forging relationships with my Soka alumni family and to accomplish my dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur while encouraging people that face daunting professional, financial, and personal circumstances.
