Who is someone you respect who models social responsibility as a leader and why?
Nemonte Nenquimo is an Indigenous activist of the Waorani people in Ecuador who led a lawsuit to protect 500,000 acres of the Amazonian rainforest and Waorani territory from oil extraction. Her spirit and fight are inspiring and teach me that anything can be accomplished with determination and community.
