Jeanne McKinney: Toward a Borderless Age of Global Unity
Donor Spotlight

My support of SUA is the greatest gift I can offer my grandchildren鈥攁nd other people鈥檚 grandchildren.
During the Holocaust in 1938, Jeanne McKinney鈥檚 father and his parents barely escaped Austria with their lives. They lost their livelihoods but made a new life in the United States. Jeanne received a settlement on their behalf and chose to use it toward her first SUA contribution in 2003.
Her ongoing donations are a tribute to her grandparents鈥 courage and imagination鈥攁nd her personal hope that future generations respect the inherent dignity of each life and the 鈥渂oundless inner power of every person to take responsibility for the welfare of mankind鈥 (Daisaku Ikeda, Faith Into Action).
鈥淢y support of SUA is the greatest gift I can offer my grandchildren鈥攁nd other people鈥檚 grandchildren. Soka Education is anchored in the urgent necessity of inspiring young people to become world citizens as they confront humankind鈥檚 most important themes: the environment, social justice, and world peace鈥攃hallenges that transcend all boundaries.鈥
